Ileana Iliescu (President of the Jury)
Emeritus artist, first ballerina of the National Opera in Bucharest for 50 years, she danced in the international repertoire Lake Swan, Don Quichotte, The Sleeping Beauty, Scheherazade, Giselle, Tricorne, Stone Flower, Bayadera, Coppelia. She performed tours with Swan Lake at Balshoi, with Giselle at Kirov, with other productions in Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, Switzerland, Cuba, Brazil, France. Ileana Iliescu was director of the Ballet Company of the National Opera House in Bucharest and choreographer of the National Opera Iasi. 2015 was awarded with the Excellency Award of the National Opera Iasi Awards Gala.
She graduated classical dance, contemporary dance, jazz, pas de deux, dance of character, theater and repertoire classes. She has specialized in choreography and dance pedagogy at Palucca Schule in Dresden (Germany). She also studied with Alicia Alonso, Maurice Bejart, Alvin Aley. In 1976 she was appointed first ballerina of the National Theater of Operetta "Ion Dacian" in Bucharest, with which she performed numerous tours in Europe and America. In 1986 she settled in Italy, in Ancona, where in 1992 became artistic director of the Fondazione Regionale Arte nella Danza Città di Ancona and signed choreographies of more than 40 artistic productions. Over time, Eugenia Morosanu has received many awards that have knowledge of artistic talent. In 2004, the Romanian Presidency offered her the "Cultural Merit" medal.
Graduate of the Republican Choreography High School in Chisinau (Rep. Moldova), State Conservatory of Leningrad - Chair of "Coregraphic Directing". Since 1986 he works as a choreographer at the National Opera and Ballet Theater in Chisinau. Between 1995 and 1997 he was a choreographer of the "Le Muse" Theater in Italy and since 1997 he works as an artistic director and choreographer at the National College of Choreography in Chisinau. Since 2005, he is a University Associate Professor at the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts. 2006 was awarded the “Master in art” order by the president of the republic Moldova.
Graduate of Ballet Academy of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, Germany and former student of the "George Apostu" National College of Fine Arts in Bacau.
At present, performs with the Bayerisches Staatsballet in Munich, Germany in classic choreographies ( Die Kameliendame, Der Nussknacker, Giselle, Spartacus, Der Schneesturm) and contemporary choreographies (Bedroom Folk, Paradigma, À jour).
Ballet master at the National Children's Palace, Bucharest, coordinator of the Dynamic Troupe with 20 years of experience in non-formal education. Graduate of the "George Enescu" High School - music - violin section, university graduate of Performing Arts - Choreography, master student in Educational Management and Institutional Communication. Organizer and manager of cultural - artistic projects, dance competitions, camps. Assessor and competency trainer. Member of the jury of numerous music and dance competitions.
Graduate of the Choreography High School in Bucharest and of the Directing-Choreography specialization within University of Theatre and Film Bucharest. Between 1983-1987 he worked at the Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad and between 1987-1990 at the Slovenian National Theater in Ljubljana. In 1997 he became director of the House of Culture of Sibiu, in which capacity he creates and coordinates the entire cultural-sports agenda of the city, previously active in specialized education. In 2005 he was appointed vice-president of the Association of Cultural Settlements in Romania, having the responsibility of designing development strategies at national level, coordinating cultural activities and launching legislative initiatives. In 2007, the year in which Sibiu is the European cultural capital, it manages the entire cultural activity of the program. He has been the director of the Sibiu Ballet Theater since its establishment in 2008.
Graduate of the theater and choreography academies, with a master's degree in performing arts, doctor of arts, Cristina Todi represented Romanian choreography as a dancer, choreographer and director-choreographer, in Europe and Asia. She is a university lecturer at the “George Enescu” National University of Art in Iași and a professor of choreography at the "Octav Bancila" National College of Art in Iași.
